Recipe: Anti-Aging Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk without Carageenan**

1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1 tablespoon of organic cacao powder processed without alkali

1/4 of an avocado

2 cups of raw spinach

3/4-1 teaspoon of chia seeds

3-4 ice cubes

Stevia (or natural sweetener of choice), to taste

 

The rest is easy! Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.  Enjoy!

This smoothie delivers lots of vitamins, healthy fats, and antioxidants which help to keep our skin moisturized, healthy, smooth, and plump.

**Almond milk brands without Carageenan:

(according to some studies, carrageenan can cause gastrointestinal inflammation, malignant tumors and colon cancer. It is an ingredient used as an emulsifying agent in many nut milks, yogurts, etc.)
